The Via Ferrata is a mountain path on a rock face with the help of metal cables, ladders and walkways. To advance on Via Ferrata you use a harness, helmet, gloves and equipment usually used for trekking.

How it works ?

The Via Ferrata Gerardo Sega in Valle dei Molini starts at 08:00 a.m. at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given the technical equipment.

The route includes an alternation of stretches in the vegetation to beautiful exposed and very scenic walls. You'll meet the long ledge, the most characteristic point of the entire route, which like a panoramic terrace runs along the rock face.

Initially the path that climbs is narrow and steep, then becomes flatter until the junction for the Ferrata Gerardo Sega.

The ferrata continues on a fairly vertical and uphill level, the last part of the route is marked by a wall to be overcome that will lead you to a small road in the woods.

The Via Ferrata on Lake Garda is an activity of medium difficulty: just don't be afraid of heights and don't suffer from vertigo, because some passages are truly breathtaking. Safety is guaranteed by the mountain guides of the UIAGM, the International Union of Mountain Guide Associations, who will take you from the meeting point to the end of your experience, after about 6 hours of hiking.
