A spectacular guided tour departing from Salerno to the excavations of Pompeii that will allow you to visit the city buried by ash and lapilli during the 79' eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
The tour to Pompeii begins at 09:15 a.m. from the meeting point requested in Salerno. A transfer will take you to the excavations of Pompeii, where your guide will lead you on a tour of about 2 hours to see the Forum with the most important public buildings, the ancient baths, the Lupanare, the theaters, workshops, frescoes and mosaics of the Domus, buried by a rain of lapilli during the eruption of 79 B.C.
After the visit you can take a stroll among the many souvenir stores, take a break at the café or lunch stop at the pizzeria.
