The paraglider is a wing designed to allow the pilot to take off using leg thrust. It is characterized by the launching point along steep slopes such as mountainous ones. Paragliding, in fact, takes advantage of wind and height. The pilot maneuvers the wing by means of suspenders connected to ropes that act as handlebars. Its origins date back to the late 1960s and, to date, it has become a real sport for which competitions are also held. Tandem or two-seater paragliding is characterized by the presence of a certified instructor who steers the paraglider. In this way, the activity is safe for everyone and the passenger can enjoy the adrenaline experience without any worries.

How it works ?

Paragliding in Paestum takes place every morning and afternoon at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given your technical equipment and meet your instructor who will explain safety procedures, flight technique and everything you need to know about your adventure.

Once you have your gear on, you will begin your takeoff with your instructor and in flight you will be carried away by the gentle warm currents typical of the Sele Valley. Once you land, you will be able to collect photos and video of your flight experience to relive those sensations whenever you want.

Who is the activity for

Paragliding is an activity for everyone as it requires no physical training. You will always be well connected to the instructor and just have to enjoy the adventure. In addition, people with disabilities can also do the activity upon request. The maximum weight allowed per passenger is 110kg (variable depending on the wind). This activity is also ideal for couples who want to share a unique and unforgettable moment.
