Snowshoeing is a walk in the snow characterised by the use of snowshoes. These are special snowshoes attached to the foot only at the front of the boot, leaving the heels free. One also walks with the aid of snow poles to alternate with walking.

Snowshoeing, in fact, is characterised by a movement very similar to cross-country skiing and is easy to practise as it does not require any particular physical preparation.

How it works ?

Snowshoeing around Campo Carlo Magno in Madonna di Campiglio begins in the afternoon at the meeting point indicated on the map.

After putting on your snowshoes and poles, which will be provided in your technical equipment, a short briefing on the activity and safety rules will follow.

The instructors will be equipped with optical equipment and, with a little luck, you will be able to see chamois in their natural habitat.

The activity lasts about 2,5 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
