Rafting is a sport that consists of river descent on a particular inflatable called “raft“. It is practiced in rivers and streams where, thanks to the flow of water and the paddle, we are directed by overcoming natural obstacles such as rocks or rapids that the river presents.

How it works ?

Rafting on the Dora Baltea River in the Aosta Valley begins at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given your technical equipment and can change in the venue's locker room. You will then board the shuttle that will take you to the creek to begin your adventure.

The route aboard the raft includes a stretch from the Dora Baltea, including the Ender Gorges from Leverogne in the municipality of Arvier, to the base. It will arrive at Lake La Salle where it will be possible to take a dip and be carried away by the current. After passing the Bombardon rapids, you will enjoy a privileged view of the typical Aosta Valley castles.

At the end of the activity you will return to the venue by shuttle and can change and use the shower and changing room.

Who is the activity for

Rafting in Valle D'Aosta is an activity for everyone: no experience is necessary, as you will be trained by qualified personnel who will accompany you throughout the adventure. This activity is therefore ideal for groups as team building or bachelor/bachelorette parties, and for families as even children from 9 years of age can participate.
