Parasailing is an early 1980s sport involving the use of a parachute inflated by the wind and towed by a motor boat. The speed of the boat and the wind allow the passenger to rise into the air and reach the desired height to enjoy a breathtaking view.

How it works ?

The activity takes place on the Amalfi Coast, specifically in Amalfi. Departure is at 09:00, 12:00, 15:00 or 18:00 where, together with the group of passengers, you will board the boat and reach the point where you will be able to soar and enjoy a unique panorama and admire the Amalfi Coast from an extraordinary and unique perspective.

An instructor and the skipper will give you a short briefing to explain the procedures and safety measures to follow. You will have to put on your harness and sit on the flight deck to begin the adventure.

The flight will last 15 minutes and you will rise to a height of 100 metres. For the return, the skipper will take you back to the boat, landing you gently on the flight deck.

You can experience the single, double or triple flight, as several people can fly together to share this exciting moment.

Who is the activity for

Parasailing in Amalfi is an activity for everyone: you must be able to swim and be in good health. For safety reasons, people who suffer from respiratory problems or heart disease, are blind or cannot hear, are pregnant, weigh more than 135 kg, have motor difficulties or cannot walk/stand up independently or who cannot hold on to the equipment with both hands cannot participate. Minors (18-) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the meeting point who will sign a written consent. The minimum age for participation is 8 years and all participants under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on the tour who will participate in the activity.

You can decide to experience the flight solo, as a couple, with a group of friends, with your family, or to celebrate a bachelor or hen party. Two or three people can fly together depending on the combined weight and wind conditions. The combined weight of the participants must not exceed 200 kg.
