Canyoning is an adventurous water sport that is practiced in the mountains and consists of the descent of streams flowing in rocky channels without the aid of canoes, kayaks or rafts. It descends, therefore, on foot with ropes that allow you to safely cross the particularly exposed points.

How it works ?

Canyoning in the Sesia Gorges starts at 09:00 a.m., at 12:15 p.m. or at 3:30 p.m. at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given the technical equipment and will be instructed on the main safety measures and behaviors to be observed.

Then you will board the bus that will take you to the starting point of your adventure.

The route includes a water trek in the impressive Sesia Gorge, the main river that runs through Piedmont. This experience combines numerous medium-height jumps, slides in the rapids, short natural toboggans, and trekking along the riverbanks.
